Apologies for the quietness of Stayfun lately. Basically a boy has to pay the rent, or at least try to. Ideally things will spring back to life here in the next week.
Today there was also the sad news of Seedling winding down, but at least they're saying a proper goodbye. So go see them in Hoorn (Oct 8), Heythuysen (Oct 16), Amsterdam (Oct 20), and Nijmegen (Oct 21), before finally ending in London at the Garage on November 5.

Some interesting gigs are on the way in the Netherlands... Jimmy Eat World, Hayden, Radio 4, Dillinger Escape Plan, American Music Club, and I Am Kloot to name just a few new listings. Also good to see Sons and Daughters finally making it over to Amsterdam too, although, it's unfortunate that it will be part of the empty-headed gig at the Heineken Music Hall on November 15.

Don't forget Broadcast Stayfun tonight. Click here to listen from 8pm CET. Tonight's playlist includes Rosie Thomas, The Twilight Singers, Rilo Kiley, new Pixies, new Solex, and recentish Andrew Bird, to name just a few.
Following that at 9pm is an almost-former Stayfun helper broadcasting a show of Benelux classics. No, not including music like Frans Bauer. I hope. For more broadcast info, visit Radio Expat during the shows.
There's also been a selection of new writing added to the site this week. Have a look around and see if you can find something nice and new to check out.
