So the November gig rush hour is pretty much over, and I successfully missed it all through work and travel. An update to the gig guide shows that December isn't quite as exciting, and a lot of the really, really cool stuff that is going to happen in January isn't officially announced yet. Oh well.

Still, upcoming gigs of interest are The Delgados (not to be missed - and it's quite cruel of the Tivoli website to say they're a bit like Snow Patrol. Do they really not know what they're booking?), Aereogramme (again, just get there - be it amsterdam, eindhoven or den haag), Hayden (who is sneaking around the country), Ken Stringfellow, and Jackie-O Motherfucker.

Where is Stayfun? It's here. I'm around...somewhere. Things are slowly stuttering on, which I apologise for. I find myself in motion a lot, and while I could technically blog during my travels, I've never looked at this site as a blog. So when I'm on the move, I find it difficult to stop and write reviews or update pages, even if music is still living in my ears daily. Additionally I'm still distance working while away, so my head is swimming with gig information of who, where and why, along with pages and pages of schedules. Where it becomes puzzling is knowing what I've used here already or elsewhere.

I certainly haven't lost interest in Stayfun. I'm currently contemplating the next step, though. And this has to be a good next step because I also plan a costly server upgrade. The financial input is my personal guarantee not to let things slip too far. Over recent months I've been helped out by numerous people, so hopefully this is something that will develop and will provide reliable input here on the site.

Anyway, I've added a couple of things today and also updated the gig database. Don't give up on us. I'll catch everything up.

Oh, and what a fine array of Scottish bands in Holland before the end of this year...Sons and Daughters, Aberfeldy, James Yorkston, The Delgados and Aereogramme. Well there are more actually, but these are the ones worth the biggest effort.
