To be honest, I hold an automatic grudge against most bands coming along who feel the need to be a “The...” However, The Shods get past my defenses having been around so long that you can rest assured they chose the name because they wanted it, not because of a lack of ideas, or even just to follow a trend. Shudder to think. Anyway, as one of the best rock‘n’roll bands to come out of Massachusetts, USA, you may not have heard their music if you live outside their area, but you’ll have heard the bands they played with and influenced along the way.
