Computers are cool. Well, most of the time anyway, and Dallas duo Tree Wave take those old blocky, plastic monsters such as the old Commodores and Atari, and turn them into musical instruments for composing surprisingly organic electronic music.
There’s less of a glitchy feel to their sound than you’d expect too, rather some interesting sweeping sounds and melodies. Add some lead vocals from Lauren Gray and you have an act with a similar depth and intent as Holland’s own Persil.
