The fact that the new album from Whip, Atheist Lovesongs to God, only has a European release via Zeal Records highlights that people in the Benelux know a good thing when they hear it, and at times, the rest of the world doesn't always get to share those same opportunities.
Whilst more commonly known for his performances with Timesbold, the power of this singer/songwriter shines through also when solo. The only proof you need is the freely available MP3 of 'Perfect Dive'. Such a beautiful tone is present both vocally and in the instrumentation. Dripping with clarity and emotion, it's good enough to hook any follower of Papa M, Songs:Ohia, or Josh Rouse.
Whip is currently touring the Netherlands, with a new Timesbold release due in March.
